Well I know this post is long over due, so I am sorry. But life has just been one big roller coaster lately! We have had some really sad times, some happy times, so trying and frustrating times and some just down right exciting moments!
I'll start with the sad times. Our sweet puppy Wendy passed away on June 5th. We knew it was coming but that didn't make it any easier to say goodbye to our silly, sweet girl. She was our first pet as a couple and she was like a child to us. We will always have a place in our hearts for her.
Trying and frustrating explains how my health has been lately. I have been having pain in my upper right-side of my abdomen for about 3 weeks now. I have had blood work, ultrasounds, a scope of my stomach, a test called a HIDA scan where they shoot you up with radioactive dye and watch it go into your digestive system and see how it works and now I also get to have a CT scan of my stomach. Why do you ask?? Because nobody can tell me what is wrong with me!!!! It is so frustrating! I just want to know what is going on with me.
Lastly the exciting part of our lives. I have been trying to find a new job for a while now. I have interviewed at a few places, but last Thursday I interviewed at a nursing home in Salt Lake. I really liked the person I interviewed with and I just had a really good feeling about the interview. Then by lunch time on Friday I got a call and they offered me the job!!! They pay sooooo much better than my current job and have some pretty great benefits! I went today and filled out all the paperwork and passed my drug test. I will start at the end of the month. I am really excited for a new change in my career.
Well, there you have it the roller coaster called the lives of Jon and Sarah!
